The RMI Embassy in Washington, D.C., is currently updating and expanding this website. Since its inception in the mid 1990s, this website has relied heavily on outside web developers for its management and maintenance. In late 2004, the Embassy embarked on an effort to "in-source" this management. This has entailed reconstruction of the website using more basic web development software, as well as ongoing basic web development training for the two full-time Embassy staff. In-house management will make updating and maintenance easier and less costly.
The goal is to create a simple yet useful website that can be more easily managed by the Embassy's very limited staff.
